Friday 05/01/2020:

08:00 am we meet at Monsignor Pablo Cabrera YPF Service Station - Cordoba to begin the journey.

Cordoba – El Manzano - Candonga Church

Within this varied and complete offer of 4x4 tourism services, it is worth mentioning the Sierras Chicas-Cuchi Corral circuit.

This excursion begins in the town of El Manzano, a small town located 34 km. from the capital of Cordoba. From here to the west, the road to Candonga starts, where the historic chapel of the same name is located.

Saturday 05/02/2020:

Cuchi Corral – San Marcos Sierra - Charnbonier

We set out on a journey through the pampas, the footprint, the Pinto River, quilpo quarries, Cruz del Eje Lake, the Sauce River for lunch in San Marcos

The itinerary continues through the Cuchi Corral hill, a privileged site for those who like to practice hang gliding or feel the adrenaline rush of paragliding into the void. 

From here begins the descent towards the Pinto River valley, crossing paths of great vegetation, to arrive at the town of San Marcos Sierras. From this place the tourists undertake the return after an exquisite barbecue prepared by the locals.

A stop at an old lime kiln, whose stone chimney peeks out from the vegetation; immediately, " Las Parideras " with its beautiful and ancient mortars carved in stone. We approached San Marcos Sierras , where we made a stop in the town known for its honey, the hippie community and its artisans.

Another is to get to Charbonier and have lunch at Estancia / Restaurant La Tramontana

Then we continue

We walk in the shade of the green tunnels, narrow alleys with roofs formed by the closed vegetation and its branches. Then, a few last curves through “ el corte ”, a path used many times in the world rally, which brought us closer to the small and bucolic Charnbonier . The caravan was grouped in the shadow of his chapel, built in 1777 in the humble home of some locals. The still steaming clay oven betrayed that the homemade bread and tortillas were ready. Right away the mate came out, while the afternoon was leaving and we were already thinking about the next caravan
